This week, Aidan and Ella are enjoying spring break with Grandma and Papa Van in Cedar Rapids. Mom was so kind to take them this week so I could get some packing done before the move next week.
Today was a super special adventure day as they got to ride on a float in the St. Patrick's Day parade! How fun is that?! Thanks to mom's connections with Camp Fire they all three were able to ride on the float. I hear that Aidan was very excited and waved the whole time, shouting out, "Happy St. Patrick's Day!". Ella, as you can see in the pictures, was much more subdued. They said she just seemed very sleepy, but never fell asleep along the parade route. Just kind of quietly took it all in. Too bad the Cedar Rapidians did not get to see our smiley happy bear.
