My first real grocery coupon success!

Okay, so this might seem pretty silly to most of you, but I was way excited by the deals I got at HyVee last night. I have become addicted to a couple of coupon/money saving blogs. I have always been a bargain shopper and get excited when I find a good deal, but I have not been super successful at the grocery game yet. But last night I think I did pretty well.

Total purchased:
2 boxes Special K (12 oz)
2 boxes Raisin Bran (20 oz)
2 boxes Frosted Flakes (17 oz)
2 boxes Eggo Waffles
2 boxes Kellogg's fruit snacks (Aidan loves Nemo and Lightening)
6 two packs of Gerber baby food (Organic and DHA which are more expensive than regular)
1 jar Miracle Whip
3 packages Hormel Little Sizzlers
1 Pint AE Chocolate Milk
Bag of Pretzels and Bag of Tortilla Chips

Total (after coupons and rebate): $19.58

Total of just the Kellogg items: $2.75!!!!!!!!! Can you believe it?!!!

Oh and here is a cute picture of the kids just so you don't think I totally wasted your time coming to the blog. :)

There is nothing crazy about getting excited for 6 boxes of cereal for LESS than $2.75. That is some great shopping. I always feel like a nut when I pull out coupons - like I'm the only person in the world that takes the time to cut them out and then actually uses them and subsequently holds up the line. Glad to know someone else is finding some real savings!

That's real good. where do you find all of your coupons? We eat a lot of fruit snacks around here. I will say that was pretty cheap for all of that stuff. Way to go.
