After some pushing and prodding from Amy I spent the better part of Thursday and Friday painting the floor of our basement. And when I say painting I mean moving stuff around to make it so I could paint the floor and just a little time actually painting it. I chose a biege 1 part epoxy with decorative flecks. It was a lot of work but we are very pleased with the results. Much brighter, better organized and a lot more room.

We created enough room for Aidan's train table and the play kitchen.
Better use of space by moving one of the shelves.
