Cheerios necklace

So I have two pictures to share, and then two quotes from Aidan. Our pictures are from his little project yesterday morning. He made a Cheerios necklace and then ate it. Simple, fun, good fine motor activity, and a very funny way to eat your morning snack!

Quotes of the Day:

1) "Mommy, I am so sad. Plop, plop, plop go the tears from my big hungry eyes." It is a line in the book Merry Christmas: Big Hungry Bear! which we have been reading a lot lately.

2) Apparently I was not moving fast enough for him this afternoon so he said, "Mommy, 5... 4...3...2...1!" And then I started giggling so he started giggling and said "That's just like mommy says!" I have only used this a handful of times and never explained it to him, but it always gets him to cooperate by the time I get to 1. I guess he thought it would work on me as well!
