Fall Fun

Sorry I have been absent for a little while. I have not been feeling well (they really need to call it all day sickness for me) and just haven't had the energy or motivation to put up a post. Hopefully this one will make up for it. Thank you to everyone for all the kind wishes on our new little one on the way. I am due on May 16 I believe ( I don't have my first doctor's appointment until the end of October). Aidan at first said it was a baby girl, but now it has changed into a baby boy and its name is Bunny Giraffe. It is kind of fun to see how he is experiencing this pregnancy differently than Ella's. Much more aware of what is going on.

Anyway, on to some pictures! The first set is at Jordan Creek Town Center in the play area and having lunch with Aaron in the food court. I believe this was what we did on Aidan's actual birthday.

These next pictures are of our family day trip to Omaha last Friday to the zoo. We wanted to make it one more time this year and it turned out to be the perfect day for it. Aaron took the day off and we just went over, enjoyed the zoo and came back. The kids were pretty good all day and we had such fun seeing all the animals again.

The last pictures are from the Center Grove Orchard, about 5 miles east of Huxley. If anyone in central Iowa is looking for a good place to take your kids to a pumpkin patch/orchard I highly recommend you check this out. There were so many fun things to do! Click on their name above and it will take you to their website for a full list of the activities. We went with Gram and Papa Friedel and just had a wonderful afternoon exploring all there was to do. Aidan says his favorites were the corn pool and the jumping pillow. If anyone else has recommendations for other good pumpkin patches in the area I would love to hear about them. This was the first one I had gone to around here, but we really enjoyed it!
Happy Fall everyone!

Tell Aidan that I saw these pictures in Torremolinos in the hotel lobby. Shared with all the tour group who were passing by and they said what a cute and pretty family. some even dug out their glasses to see better. Loved the multi-picture groupings. Almost like a video of the day. MOM
