This afternoon our friends wanted to go explore the Pappajohn Sculpture Park in Des Moines. We decided to tag along with them and check it out. The kids had fun running around with each other. They would all run ahead to the next sculpture, stand there looking at it (Aidan seemed to always have his hands clasped behind his back) and discussing it, until the parents caught up and then they would run to the next one. I wonder what our little art critics had to say about the sculptures, too bad we were too slow to hear what they had to say.
The one I took this pictures at is called Nomade and is basically a 3 story human form made out of letters. I had each of the kids find the first letter of their name and took their picture by it. Olivia was so cute because she just happened to wander over to an "O" and peek through it. :)
