Soggy Fourth

The weekend of the fourth was a bit of fun around here. Not with the traditional fireworks and parade, those were all delayed soggy events, so we did not partake. But a neighbor had a birthday party with a huge bounce house we got to enjoy.

Then Aaron found this little toad in our garage, Aidan wanted to pick him up. :) Here he is cornering the little fella:

Success! Followed by some hand washing. And no Nan, no frogs found their way into his pockets or my washing machine. Not yet at least!

The only bright spot in the weather of Sunday and Monday. A beautiful full rainbow.

I am glad I got the picture when I did. I went outside again about 5 minutes later and it was gone.
